Tuition Fees

Tuition fees typically range from £16,000 to £36,000 per year, depending on the university and course.

Many universities offer international students upto 30% discount on their tuition fees.

You’ll need to pay a deposit to receive your CAS letter and apply for your visa. For undergraduate students, some universities may require full payment of the first year’s fees before you arrive in the UK.

Financial Requirements

The UKVI requires international students to prove they have:

  1. Living costs for 9 months: £10,225 (or £13,350 if studying in London). and
  2. Outstanding tuition fees for the first year.

You’ll need a bank statement (from yourself or a parent) showing the required amount in the account for a consecutive 28-day period. If using a parent's account, their name must appear on your birth certificate.

Example Calculation:
If your tuition fee is £13,700 and you’ve paid a deposit of £5,500, your outstanding fee will be £8,200. Adding the required living costs (£10,225), you will need a total of £18,425 available in the account.

Additional Costs

  • Visa application fee: £490
  • Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS): £776 per year of the visa (e.g., £3,492 for a 4-year, 4-month visa). The IHS fee provides access to the National Health Services (NHS).

Accommodation costs range from £550 to £850 per month for a room. Most students opt for shared housing, where common spaces like the kitchen and living room are shared.

Visa Application

You can apply for your visa up to 6 months before your course start date. We will guide you every step.

Upon completing your studies, you will be eligible for a 2-year Graduate visa, allowing you to work or find employment in the UK.

Working While Studying

Yes, international students can work:

  • 20 hours per week during term time.
  • Full-time during term holidays.

The 20-hour limit is unlikely to cover all your living expenses and should not be relied upon to pay tuition fees.
